Lost, destroyed, stolen, discarded, rejected, erased, ephemeral

As I have been thinking about the idea of impermanence, absence and loss for my critical review and my major project I came across the site for The Gallery of Lost Art, a project at the Tate Modern 2013. It provides an interesting resource when reflecting on these issues- and I didn’t want to loose it.

It includes an interesting video relating to the conservation of Eva Hesse’s latex works, which is something I have been looking at in relation to this issue, so fascinating to see some examples of her work and the state of degradation.
