Revisiting work in press.

This circle of roots was collected from the bottom of willow No 3. It has been pressed onto watercolour paper leaving traces of itself – through stain from the roots and fragments of the roots them selves.

These are just a few examples of what I have in the press. I just took them out of the press to assess what was happening to them. Many pieces are very fragile, some of the papers began to tear as I tried to prize them apart, but there are some interesting bits. When I look at these now I think of the work of John Newling whose work I found really interesting and will follow up further.
