Frottage of Willow bark and willow forms.

Here I was experimenting to see what sort of marks I could get using frottage from the bark on a log from a willow tree and the willow forms that I have made. I used charcoal and graphite, and then moved on to using a wax crayon which gave some nice marks. In my mind I keep thinking back to the root drawings and how I might incorporate them into later work. I then tried this out using some scraps of the tea stained fabrics. Some interesting possibilities.
